Figure 4. Students’ evaluation about the outcomes provided by the website. own construction. As Figure 4 shows, there is a high percentage of exemplary in all the aspects assessed. For example, when asking students about the reinforcement of the grammar knowledge provided by the website, 12 out of 16 students evaluated it as exemplary while 4 out of 16 students evaluated it as accomplished. This result was positive and it revealed that grammar was reinforced by using the website. Lacina (2005) referred to this aspect by saying that “teaching grammar in context on the web was exciting, and the students truly enjoyed in both content and grammar/ editing in a conference online” (p. 247). This quote supports some comments provided by the students. For example, one of the students mentioned that the website makes the learning process become funny and some others referred to the website as a very interesting and motivating tool. On the other hand, when researchers asked students to evaluate if the website provided them with an opportunity to practice some other skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing, 11 out of 16 students evaluated it as exemplary, 3 of them evaluated it as accomplished, and 3 of them as developing. Similarly, students mentioned that the website provided them with an opportunity to practice those macro skills. They also referred to their grammar knowledge by saying that the website improved it since it was a new way of learning. Scarino and Liddicoat (2009) mentioned that “Technologies provide ready access to the contemporary world and provide many resources which can be adapted readily to teaching and learning. Technologies provide not just texts for input, but opportunities to explore new ways of using language” (p.62). A similar aspect of the previous quote was revealed in some comments from the students, they referred to the website as a useful tool to study grammar and to learn vocabulary.
